Getting Started is Easy!
Start today with the FSB app and your email address or phone number:
- Login to FSB Mobile or Online Banking
- Select “Send Money with Zelle” from the Menu
- Read and accept Terms and Conditions
- Select your deposit account and mobile number or email address
- Enter the one-time verification code sent to your chosen phone number or email address
- That’s it! You’re ready to start sending and receiving money with Zelle®

- Know: Only use Zelle® to send money to people and small businesses you trust.
- Verify: Ensure your recipients name, number, and email address are correct before sending.

How do I start using Zelle®?
Log in to online banking or our mobile banking app and navigate to the "Send Money With Zelle®". To enroll, accept terms and conditions, enter your email address or mobile number and select your deposit account. Then, you will receive a one-time verification code. Enter it and you're ready to start sending and receiving with Zelle®.
How can I request money in Zelle®?
Tap “Request,” select the individual you’d like to request money from, enter the requested amount, include an optional note, review, and hit “Request” to submit. If the person you’re requesting money from is not enrolled with Zelle® yet, you must use their email address to make the request. If the person has enrolled their U.S. mobile number, you can send the request using their number.
How do I receive money with Zelle®?
The first thing you will do is share your enrolled email address or mobile number with the person sending you the funds. The money will be sent directly into your FSB account, typically within minutes!
If someone sent you money with Zelle®, but you aren’t enrolled yet, follow these steps:
(1) Click on the link provided in the payment notification received via text or email.
(2) Select First State Bank and follow the page instructions to enroll and receive your money. Make sure you enroll with the same email address or number you received the payment notification from to ensure you receive your money.
Is my information secure?
Keeping your money and information secure is a top priority for First State Bank. When you use Zelle® within our mobile app or online banking, your information is protected with the same technology we use to keep your First State Bank account safe.

Are there limits for sending or receiving money with Zelle®?
There are no limits to the amount of money you can receive with Zelle®. However, limits on the amount you can send, and frequency, is set by each participating financial institution. To learn about First State Bank’s sending limits, please call us at 580-623-4945.
How do I use a Zelle® QR code?
Zelle® QR code provides peace of mind knowing you can send and receive money, without typing or providing an email address or U.S. mobile number.
To use a QR code, open your FSB Mobile app and navigate to Zelle®. Click on “Send” and then click the QR code icon displayed at the top of the “Select Recipient” screen. Once you allow access to your camera, simply point it at the recipient’s QR code, enter the amount, and hit send! When sending money to someone new, always double check the display name before submitting payment to confirm you’re sending to the right person.
Does Zelle® or First State Bank offer purchase protection?
Neither First State Bank nor Zelle® offers purchase protection for payments made with Zelle® - for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for, or the item is not as described or as you expected. Only send money to people and small businesses you trust and always ensure you've used the correct email address or U.S. mobile number when sending money.
